Are you over 40? Struggle to read fine print?

What is Presbyopia?

Presbyopia is an age-related vision condition that causes near objects to appear blurry. It typically starts in a person’s 40’s, when the lens of the eye begins to stiffen and lose flexibility. This makes it difficult to focus on nearby objects.

Presbyopia can significantly impact your quality of life. Regular daily activities like reading books, instruction manuals and food labels, scrolling through your phone, threading a needle and other close-up tasks can become daunting.

The good news is, with the help of Modern Eye Care, this common vision condition can be effectively managed, so you won’t have to compromise on your quality of life.

I’ve been going to Modern Eye Care for around a decade, and the doctor I had seen that entire time r... ecently left the practice. Naturally, after seeing the same doctor for so many years, I was curious how the transition to a new doctor would go. I’m so happy to say I had such a great experience with Dr. Ashly Cyriac! She was incredibly kind and warm and took the time to answer all of my questions. I also realized over the weekend that I had completely run out of contacts, with travel coming up in just one week. My current glasses cause me a lot of discomfort, so I was in a bit of a panic trying to figure out what I was going to do. I was able to go online on Sunday and easily book an appointment for Monday, the front desk staff were welcoming and attentive, and Dr. Cyriac went above and beyond to help me given how urgently I needed contacts. I really loved my experience and left feeling so relieved and well taken care of. After going to this practice for so many years, I’m very happy to know I’m still in great hands. Highly recommend Dr. Cyriac and the Modern Eye Care team!
